We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations by completing repairs performing preventive maintenance and ensuring all systems and equipment are in excellent working order. This role makes a direct impact on the guest experience by keeping our property running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily general maintenance repairs and troubleshooting for guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces
  • Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC plumbing electrical systems equipment and appliances
  • Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs
  • Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks doors alarms lighting and other safety systems
  • Assist with pool/spa operations (if applicable) including chemical testing and equipment maintenance
  • Support cleanliness and upkeep of building exteriors grounds and hotel equipment
  • Work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to coordinate repairs and prioritize tasks
  • Maintain accurate logs reports and documentation of completed work
  • Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs for tools parts or equipment
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards safety protocols and all local/state regulations

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance building operations or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
  • Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. climb ladders and perform physical labor as needed
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends or evenings
  • EPA or other maintenance certifications are a plus but not required
