Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining repairing and supporting production equipment. This highly production-focused position is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime supporting operational efficiency and executing machine changeovers to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Machine Changeovers & Production Support
  • Perform and lead mechanical changeovers on production equipment.
  • Ensure machines are properly adjusted set up and verified prior to production startup.
  • Work closely with production teams to execute efficient changeovers while minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain readiness of equipment to support production.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Repair and Replacement
  • Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts.
• Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and equipment history.
  • Utilize maintenance management documentation procedures for documentation.
• Safety Compliance
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in safety training programs.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with production and other departments to understand equipment needs and priorities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel.
• All other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3 years of Maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards are not overlooked.
• Physical stamina to handle full shift of being active.
