$27.00/hr. up to $31/hr.

The Job You Will Perform:
Mechanical
Visually inspects and listens to machine and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
Dismantles equipment and remove parts for repair using hand tools power tools chain falls jacks cranes or hoist
Inspects and measures parts to detect wear misalignment or other problems
Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines machines parts or other equipment according to specified procedures
Install replace or change machine parts and attachments according to engineering specifications
Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machine and measures cuts threads and installs new pipe
Sets up and operates tools such as drill press grinder welding equipment etc to make or repair parts
Start machines and equipment to test operation of repairs completed
Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair and/or Preventive Maintenance(PMs)
Record maintenance and repair information
Trouble shoot and repair equipment
Electrical
Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and software and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.
Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires.
Install repaired equipment in various settings such as industrial or military establishments.
Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking cleaning and repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems.
Study blueprints schematics manuals and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.
Repair and adjust equipment machines and defective components replacing worn parts such as gaskets and seals in watertight electrical equipment.
Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems repairs calibrations and tests.
Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.

Perform other duties as assigned
Overtime is required as needed.
Hand tools are required and a tool box for storage of personal tools.
Will be working at heights for some jobs. Must be able to operate forklifts and man lifts for repairs as needed.
The Skills You Will Bring:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Technical trade school military training or college preferred
Job progression with increasing responsibilities
Must be able to troubleshoot machine problems using root cause analysis
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must have a working knowledge of the overall machine both mechanically and operationally
Communicate and work closely with all team members
