Description:
Maintenance Technician (Temporary)

Woodland Village Brighton MI

Woodland Village is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe comfortable and well-functioning community for our residents and staff.

Schedule:
Temporary Position 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What Youll Do:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community

  • Assist with basic plumbing electrical and HVAC repairs

  • Maintain and repair community and kitchen equipment

  • Complete painting and furniture refinishing projects as needed

  • Support floor care activities including vacuuming shampooing disinfecting and deodorizing

  • Calibrate thermostats and perform minor equipment repairs

  • Operate test and complete preventive maintenance on generators and other facility systems

  • Maintain grounds equipment and building systems in accordance with safety standards and community procedures

What Youll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum six months of maintenance experience preferred

  • Experience in healthcare senior living or long-term care environments is a plus

  • Knowledge of basic plumbing electrical HVAC and general building maintenance

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
