Woodland Village Brighton MI
Woodland Village is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe comfortable and well-functioning community for our residents and staff.
Schedule:
Temporary Position 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
What Youll Do:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community
Assist with basic plumbing electrical and HVAC repairs
Maintain and repair community and kitchen equipment
Complete painting and furniture refinishing projects as needed
Support floor care activities including vacuuming shampooing disinfecting and deodorizing
Calibrate thermostats and perform minor equipment repairs
Operate test and complete preventive maintenance on generators and other facility systems
Maintain grounds equipment and building systems in accordance with safety standards and community procedures
What Youll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum six months of maintenance experience preferred
Experience in healthcare senior living or long-term care environments is a plus
Knowledge of basic plumbing electrical HVAC and general building maintenance
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
