Maintenance Tech

This position is responsible for installation maintenance and repair for all broadcast systems equipment facilities and software applications. Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Sun Lakes AZ Office

Rate: $23.07 - $25.00 per hour

Full-Time/Part Time: Full-Time

Reporting to: Tech Ops and Support Manager

Description

This position is responsible for installation maintenance and repair for all broadcast systems equipment facilities and software applications.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Perform support and maintenance on the BB/CATVplant.
• Troubleshoot system outages and individual customer issues asneeded.
• Provide support to all servicetechs.
• Maintain companyvehicleand keep properly stocked withappropriate suppliesandequipment.
• Power supply maintenance and trouble shooting
• Maintainan appropriateand professional image of the company through appearance demeanor driving habits and interactions withcustomers.
• Follow all safety rules andcomply withcompany policies andspecifications.
• Work duties are performed both inside and outside of maintained buildings and property.

You will need to have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent isrequired.
• 5 years of broadband/CATV experience in telephony fiber optics microwave transmission or related field
• Valid drivers license
• System forward and return testing andbalancing.
• Knowledge and experience working with electronics electrical RF and fiber opticequipment.
• Able to communicate clearly and strong interpersonalskills.
• Able to work independently and plan accordingly to complete dailyassignments.
• Knowledge of and ability tocomply withall OSHA FCC NEC and local ordinances.
• Strong working knowledge of computers

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and all times of day ornight.
• This positionparticipatesin an on-callschedule.
• âBend stoop and crawl.
• âLift up to 75 pounds andto lift position and carry ladders.
• Climb ladders towers and/or utility poles and work in high places.
