We are seeking an experiencedGeneral Mechanic to support maintenance and manufacturing operations in an industrial environment.

The General Mechanic will be responsible for designing fabricating installing repairing modifying and maintaining machinery equipment structures and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment and a strong working knowledge of mechanical repair welding millwright work hydraulics sheet metal pipe fitting and blueprint interpretation.

This position requires a highly skilled safety-conscious individual who can troubleshoot mechanical systems perform repairs and work effectively with a variety of industrial tools and equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

Design fabricate install repair modify and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical equipment issues.
Perform millwright pipe fitting welding and fabrication work as required.
Read and interpret blueprints diagrams and technical drawings.
Work with hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
Assist with installation modification and maintenance of structures and facilities.
Operate a variety of industrial tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Perform rigging and material-handling activities using hoists and cranes.
