Maintenance Tech

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting repairing and installing plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Install modify and rebuild machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines motors pumps and facility equipment.
• Conduct general building maintenance including plumbing carpentry welding and electrical work.
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
• Maintain lubrication schedules and complete routine inspections.
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 25 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting production equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical documentation.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the year.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds when required.
