Job Summary
This is a key leadership role responsible for maximizing equipment reliability leading maintenance teams driving continuous improvement and supporting safe efficient plant performance. Occasional travel to Canada may be required for training.
- Lead and prioritize all plant maintenance activities across mechanical electrical and controls systems
- Supervise and develop maintenance personnel to drive safety reliability and performance
- Maintain and protect manufacturing assets through strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive root cause problem solving
- Coordinate equipment repairs upgrades and modifications
- Manage maintenance budgets purchase orders inventory and cost controls
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve uptime efficiency and equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with safety environmental and quality standards
- Oversee contractors inspections and plant projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reporting
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in a technical or management field preferred
- Extrusion manufacturing experience required (PVC / plastics preferred)
- 5 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Strongtechnical and troubleshooting mindset
- Excellentorganizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems PLCs and industrial equipment
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- SAP experience a plus
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
