Where is the work:

What you will do:

• Executes the daily production schedule through the utilization of people material machine and processes to meet customer requirements schedule compliance and cost objectives

• Work with other Team Leaders and employees throughout the organization cooperating to assure the production processes support the production plan and customer requirements

• Assures appropriate quality checks PMs and audits are performed by operators to provide product and process quality

• Responsible for employee job training employee performance wage and contract administration employee discipline policies and procedures attendance and vacation schedules labor reporting inventory accuracy etc.

• Develop and implement improvements in the areas of throughput cycle time and inventory reduction. Coordinate process problems that involve deviation from standard conditions

What you will bring:

• 5 years experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing.

• Bachelors degree preferred work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

• Previous experience in a team leadership role of at least 3 years.

• Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization

• Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage
