If you enjoy problem-solving working independently and making a meaningful impact every day wed love to hear from Join Broadstep4 Weeks of PTO in Your First Year& Paid HolidaysComprehensive Benefits (Medical Dental Vision)Purpose-driven work with children and adolescentsWhat Youll DoPerform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on buildings equipment furniture and groundsComplete minor repairs involving plumbing electrical systems lighting doors locks drywall flooring painting and general facility upkeep Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner Conduct routine facility inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns Assist with maintaining exterior grounds walkways parking areas and outdoor spaces Support facility readiness for inspections audits and accreditation reviews Assist with room setups furniture moves and other operational needs Maintain maintenance records work orders and inventory of supplies and equipment Coordinate with vendors and contractors as directed Support emergency preparedness and facility safety initiatives What Were Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of two (2) years of maintenance facilities construction or related building trades experience Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical carpentry painting and general building maintenance Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record (if operating company vehicles) Preferred QualificationsHVAC electrical plumbing or other trade certification Experience working in healthcare residential educational or behavioral health settings Physical RequirementsThis position requires:Frequent standing walking bending kneeling climbing and reaching Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed About the FacilityThe Venice Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) provides residential behavioral health treatment services to children and adolescents in a structured therapeutic environment.
