Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary
- Travel between clinic sites to perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems including elevators refrigerators microwaves television monitors doorswindows locks keys lighting electrical plumbing HVAC systems and medical equipment.
- Monitor the condition ofcommon areasand exterior grounds to ensure cleanliness safety and proper working order.
- Perform interior and exterior painting touch-up work scheduled maintenance painting and graffiti removal.
- Conduct routine plumbing maintenance including unclogging sinks repairing leaking faucets replacing filters addressing water pressure issues and coordinating vendor support for larger repairs.
- Perform light construction and facility repairs including replacing ceiling tiles repairing doors installing shelving and ordering installing or replacing building signage.
- Complete routine electrical and lighting maintenance including replacing light bulbs light switches electrical outlets and batteries in emergency and exit lighting systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities including cleaning HVAC screens and coordinating preventative service with HVAC alarm plumbing elevator and other facility vendors.
- Repair and replace facility dispensers including toilet paper and paper towel dispensers and monitor facility supply levels to ensure adequate inventory of maintenance cleaning and operational supplies.
- Assistwith vendor management by coordinating service requestsmonitoringvendor performance and supporting maintenance projects and repairs completed by contractors.
- Serve as an active member of the Safety Team byassistingwith fire drills coordinating with fire inspectorsmonitoringfire extinguisher inspections participating in mock OSHA inspections and addressing facility safety concerns.
- Assemble move and install furniture office equipment and furnishings as needed.
- Hang pictures lubricate doors and hardware and perform general maintenance and cosmetic repairs throughout organizational facilities.
- Transport materials and supplies between clinic and storage locations.
- Provide facility-related support to the Information Technology department including equipment moves and workspace setups.
- Maintain facility records reports maintenance logs and related documentation.
- Support organizational recycling programs and sustainability initiatives.
- Create track andmaintaina work order or ticketing system to prioritize maintenance requests and projects.
- Assistinmaintaininga clean safe and professional environment throughout all facilities.
- Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies ina timelyand professional manner.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Support Procurement department with receiving and distribution of supplies and equipment
- And other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 25 pounds; ability to bend stoop kneel reach and perform physical tasks associated with facility maintenance.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and work at varying heights.
- Working knowledge of basic carpentry plumbing electrical and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safelyoperatehand tools power tools and basic maintenance equipment.
- Ability to travel between multiple clinic locations asrequired.
- Strong organizational time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Valid California drivers license reliable transportation and acceptable driving record.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Minimum two years experience in a facility maintenance field construction electrical plumbing and/ora combination of related experience.
