Job DescriptionJob Title:Maintenance SpecialistLocation: RipleyDepartment:MaintenanceReports To:Maintenance ManagerJob Overview:Primary duties includeprovidingsafe andtimely mechanical and electrical support preventative maintenance installation service repair troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial :Conducts all work in a safe efficient manner usingappropriate tools according to established safety rules and practices while striving for ZERO Safety First identification of Near Misses along withappropriate and repairs plant machineryequipmentand physical failures in machinery or equipment and makes necessary inspects and tests machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test anddocumentspreventative specifications blueprints manuals and schematic drawings and lockout/tag out procedures to make repairs by skillfully using handtools power tools hoist crane and measuring and testing plumbing and pipe fitting and relatedwork ininstallingrepairingor routing water sewageairand gas repair procedures and parts used from inventory andmaintainaccurateinventory of tools and welding acetylene brazing cutting torch routine layout and other duties as areas clean and free of for On Call DutyPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Education:HS Diploma or equivalent two (2)yearstechnical degree in a related field or electrical/mechanical experience & Abilities:Must effectively use equipment operating skills such as forklifts crane front-end loader etc. preferredMust be able to work independently with limited skills be able to read and understand manuals parts diagrams schematicdrawingsand the ability to perform maintenance tasks such as changing ability to perform detail-oriented oral and written communication core values of Honesty and be able to stand for the duration of the be able tolift50 pounds andassistwith lifting heavier reaching twisting stooping walking and climbing stairways and be able to climb and work at heights greater than 100 endurance to withstand operation of geared equipment and to withstand heavy physical labor required of position.
