We are a journey of continuous growth now looking for our next star a passionate Maintenance Specialist. This position reports to Plant Manager Machining and will work in Vancouver BC.

Vancouver:

Dometic Marines headquarters are in Vancouver British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic electronic and combustion- based products.

About the position

As Maintenance Specialist of the Vancouver team you will be responsible to ensure the continued operation of all in-house designed and purchased production test assembly and other equipment and devices.

Your main responsibilities

  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment to the component level. Provide advice and feedback on corrective actions.
  • Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to evaluate quality and performance of equipment and devices.
  • Inspect equipment structures and materials to identify the cause of errors or defects.
  • Service repair rework and calibrate equipment to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
  • Review blueprints electrical schematics hydraulic schematics pneumatic diagrams PLC ladder diagrams and technical orders to determine method and sequence of operation and assembly.
  • Install equipment machines wiring or programs to meet required specifications.
  • Use test instruments such as oscilloscopes multi-meters and meggers to test the performance of electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimension and clearance of parts to ensure conformance of fit and specifications.
  • Works on day afternoon or night shifts as required.
