Maintenance Specialist 2nd Shift

Pay Range: $34.00$37.00 per hour
Shift: 3:00 PM11:30 PM
Schedule: Immediate opening

Position Overview

Responsible for maintaining troubleshooting repairing and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support safe efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electrical mechanical pneumatic hydraulic electronic automation and equipment issues.
  • Perform complex preventive and predictive maintenance using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic controls for equipment repair rebuilding and fabrication.
  • Diagnose and resolve PLC issues.
  • Maintain and repair building electrical construction and security systems.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics with minimal assistance.
  • Perform minor repairs on electronic circuit boards and control panels.
  • Document maintenance preventive predictive and repair activities accurately.
  • Follow all safety requirements and OSHA standards.
  • Operate forklifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma and at least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Understanding of PLC ladder logic and text-based control programming.
  • Intermediate to advanced ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to follow safety rules operating instructions maintenance procedures and manuals.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work orders and meet deadlines to reduce production downtime.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Preferred Credentials
  • PLC Technician certification is a plus.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
Work Environment
  • Facility operates approximately 75100 machines across about 10 machine types including slitters cutters presses heat presses laminators rotary machines and die-cutting equipment.
  • Experience working with older equipment is required.
  • Strong electrical and PLC knowledge is essential; PLC programming experience is not required.
  • The facility produces value-added products such as battery covers and noise-reduction materials rather than metal parts.
  • Candidates must successfully complete a drug screen and background check.
