Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner you will play a crucial role inoptimizingthe maintenance activities and schedules for our organizations facilities and equipment. You willbe responsible forcoordinating and planning maintenance tasks ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimizing downtime. Yourexpertisein scheduling coordination and preventive and predictive maintenance will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our maintenance operations. The Maintenance Scheduler / Planner reports to the maintenance position will require about 5% travel and is not hybrid work eligible.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES(notall inclusive):
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with maintenance teams operations vendors and suppliers and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive maintenance plans. Review work requests prioritize tasks and determineappropriate schedulingand resourcesrequired. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop andmaintaina preventive and predictive maintenance program including regular inspections lubrications and servicing schedules. Coordinate with maintenance technicians to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. Continuously assess the effectiveness of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and recommend improvements.
- Work Order Management: Process and reviewmaintenancework orders. Assess the nature of the workdeterminerequired resources and skill sets and assign tasks accordingly. Ensure accuracy and completeness of work orders including detailed instructions materials and estimated durations.
- Schedule Optimization: Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment allocation of resources including labor materials and equipment to ensure efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities. Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime.
- Parts and Inventory Management: Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensuretimelyavailability of necessary parts tools and materials for maintenance activities. Monitor stock levelsinitiatepurchase requests andmaintainaccurateinventory for inventory optimization and cost savings.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintainaccurateand up-to-date records of maintenance activities including work orders schedules maintenance histories and equipment performance data. Generate reports on maintenance performance highlighting key metrics trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates and communication to stakeholdersregardingmaintenance schedules and progress.
- Continuous Improvement:Identifyopportunities to improve maintenance processes increase efficiency and reduce costs. Participate in cross-functional teams and initiatives focused on implementing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies. Proactively seek feedback from maintenance technicians and stakeholders to drive process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Engineering Associate TechnicalDegreeor a High school diploma with 2 plus years of relevant technical experience. Certifications oradditionaleducation in maintenance management or leadershipisa plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance scheduling planning or relatedfield.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles practices and methodologies.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar maintenance management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work order creation and scheduling.
- Clear and effective communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with maintenance technicians and stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities tooptimizemaintenance schedules and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in maintenance operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiencyin using productivity software such as spreadsheets and databases for reporting and analysis
- Ability to travel (10%)

Competitive Salary with a general salary range of $69264.00 to $86580.00 or higher depending on education and experience.
