Maintenance & Repair Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Industrial Machine Shop Maintenance role is to support the day-to-day activities associated with all aspects of manufacturing operations including but not limited to installing maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment throughout the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment as needed
• To maintain and improve the safe working environment on the shop floor and its surrounding areas.
• To establish a proactive and reactive maintenance program.
• To actively participate in our safety program
• Fill machine oils Empty chip hoppers Sweep/run floor scrubber
• Clean coolant tanks burr benches
• Troubleshoot/repair machines
• Building maintenance Lighting Electrical Plumbing Painting
• Maintain outside parking lot and dock area

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

To conform to U.S. export control regulations the applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
• Proficient in problem analysis problem-solving and successful resolution.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and group communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance / technical role is preferred
• Experience with equipment installs and modifications in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with CNC machines is preferred
• Preferred experience working in CAD
• Preferred additive OEM and FSE experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses hearing protection steel-toe boots and other mandatory safety equipment.
• For the most part ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sit or stand as needed.
• Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
• Reaching above shoulder height below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
• Proper lifting techniques required.
• Ability and comfort level to work in small confined spaces while following proper safety protocol.
• Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
