Maintenance Planner

$35$40/hour paid weekly
Schedule: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
Location: Rock Island IL
 

Job Description:

What youll do:
As a key link between maintenance production and outside vendors youll plan and prioritize the work that keeps our equipment running. Day to day youll:

• Build maintenance schedules and generate work orders across all shifts
• Own the preventive/corrective maintenance program and keep it optimized
• Track department performance through the ERP system and report on key metrics
• Manage vendor relationships sourcing quotes technical documentation and pricing
• Forecast and manage parts inventory (MRP) so the team always has what it needs
• Estimate labor and parts costs and adjust plans when equipment breaks down
• Prepare purchase requisitions/POs and support parts room operations
• Occasionally assist outside normal hours for urgent needs
• Required to support other sites remotely

Qualifications :

What you bring:

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance planning
• Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record
• Must be able to operate a forklift man lift and other industrial equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office D365 and Microsoft AX (highly preferred)
• Purchasing and vendor management
• High level knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts
• Excellent planning and execution skills
• Be an excellent communicator
• Ability to work under pressure and with others for a common goal
