Maintenance Mechanic

duties: replacing motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceiling; repairing or replacing sinks water coolers and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors steps and sidewalks; replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):

Level I:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of general maintenance experience required.
• Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Computer Skills - Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel etc.) preferred.
