GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a food production company in McMinnville OR. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team in a hands-on maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment in a food processing environment
Install maintain and repair motors conveyors pumps compressors hydraulic and pneumatic systems wiring controls and production equipment
Read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and electrical codes
Operate welding fabrication electrical testing and maintenance shop equipment safely and effectively
Complete maintenance reports inspections and inventory documentation using a computerized maintenance system
Maintain knowledge of food processing equipment GMP standards Food Safety policies and AIB requirements
Follow all plant safety procedures PPE requirements and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) policies
Assist with parts inventory lubrication equipment relocation and maintaining clean organized work areas
Maintain schedule flexibility to support production and maintenance needs as required

Qualifications

General electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
Knowledge of welding equipment power tools and testing equipment
Ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery
Good communication and math skills
High school diploma or technical/mechanical training preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand climb kneel walk push and pull throughout shifts
Comfortable working in noisy humid and industrial environments

Schedule Details

Night Shift
Monday Friday 9:50 PM 6:00 AM
Must be available to work weekends
