SCHEDULE:
First couple of months you will be training from 9:00am-9:00pm with rotating schedule. Eventually your set scheduled would be 6:00pm-6:00am with rotational schedule.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Experienced colleague who assists with troubleshooting performing minor to moderate repairs and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance procedures.
- Performs visual inspections checks fluid levels lubricates and cleans parts tightens and adjusts components replaces parts calibrates sensors and gauges.
- Performs diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment to assess condition performance and functionality.
- Troubleshoots issues by conducting tests examining symptoms and using diagnostic tools to pinpoint causes.
- Determines materials replacement parts and tools/parts needed to perform minor to moderate repairs.
- Documents maintenance and repair activities including recording parts used and work performed.
- May provide recommendations for future repairs or adjustments.
- Proactively inspects andmaintains tools and equipment used in the workshop ensuring theyre in good working condition.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock placing replacement orders and receiving and verifying against receipt.
- May request replenishments for commonly used items.
- Assists with or participates inprojects involving the installation modification or relocation of machinery and equipment.
- Follows technical documents diagrams sketches operations manuals manufacturers instructions blueprints schematics Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Provides feedback on ongoing issues.
- Completes all paperwork associated with role including but not limited to work orders parts request forms RCA reports PM inspection sheets runtime inspection sheets downtime reports.
- Follows guidance from more senior level mechanics.
- May assist more junior level mechanics with routine questions.
- Follows the operations and company safety procedures and practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Skill in using diagnostic tools to assess performance and functionality.
- Troubleshooting ability to identify root causes and perform moderate repairs.
- Knowledge of technical documents schematics blueprints and P&IDs.
- Accuracy in documenting repairs and recommending future maintenance.
- Organizational skills to manage tools supplies and replacement parts.
- Capability to support equipment installation modification and relocation.
- Communication skills to share feedback and assist junior mechanics.
- Works well under general guidance while following safety and operating procedures.
- Commitment to cleanliness safety and compliance with procedures.

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $24.66 - $42.02annually. Typically a competitive wage for new hires will fall between34.00 to38.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge skills experience and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.Benefits Statement:
