About the Role:
The Maintenance Mechanic PLC Troubleshooting is responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and automated equipment. This position combines traditional mechanical maintenance with PLC troubleshooting responsibilities to support production uptime and equipment performance.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures.
- Diagnose PLC-related faults impacting machine operation.
- Perform maintenance on conveyors motors bearings chains belts and gearboxes.
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Assist with machine startups equipment upgrades and reliability improvements.
- Interpret schematics blueprints and technical documentation.
- Maintain maintenance records and communicate repair activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic Industrial Mechanic or Maintenance Technician.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience with hydraulics pneumatics and power transmission systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and maintenance tools.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and lockout tagout procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
- Industrial maintenance certification or vocational training.
- Experience in manufacturing warehousing or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of automation systems and controls.
- Familiarity with CMMS software.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience.
