Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a hands-onMaintenance Managerto lead maintenance operations equipment reliability facilities and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) programs within a growing manufacturing facility.

This position is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime developing the maintenance team supporting capital projects and driving a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who enjoys working on the plant floor while building and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance operations with a strong commitment to safety.
• Drive equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Manage and develop the maintenance team through coaching and training.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment and facility issues while minimizing downtime.
• Lead equipment installations facility improvements and capital projects.
• Coordinate vendors contractors and maintenance resources.
• Oversee maintenance inventory shop organization and equipment documentation.
• Partner with Production Engineering Quality and Plant Leadership to achieve operational goals.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong background in equipment reliability preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing capital projects vendors and outside contractors.

Preferred

• Lean Manufacturing TPM or Reliability-Centered Maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience managing Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) programs.
