Maintenance Lead

Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing LLC an American Foods Group company has an opportunity for a Maintenance Leadat our East River plant in Green Bay WI.

As Maintenance Lead you will:

• Perform Maintenance Mechanic I and/or II duties.
• Perform upper level problem solving and support team lead on complex or on-going projects.
• Install equipment machines wiring or programs to meet specifications.
• Determine causes of operating errors and possess ability to tell when something is likely to go wrong before downtime occurs.
• Assist in training Maintenance Mechanic I and/or IIs for advancement.
• Wire and troubleshoot from wiring schematics (12 volts DC - 480 volts AC).
• Inspect and/or test damaged machine parts and mark defective area or notify supervisor of need for repairs.
• Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to job.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must have prior experience using hand and power tools precision measuring tools and the ability to read and work from drawings and blueprints.

• Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm hot humid cold wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Hours vary based on production needs and extended hours may be required.

• Must be able to successfully complete training:

  • Safety.

  • Safe Quality Food (SQF).

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Food defense.

  • Lock out/Tag out.
  • Forklift.
  • Walker.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade school or maintenance training.
