  • JOB GOALS:
    Under general direction performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the repair and maintenance of mechanical or electrical equipment buildings and grounds.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
    2. Valid Arizona drivers license.
    3. Must pass a background clearance
    4. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
    5. Experience with computers such as email and work order systems.
    6. Position requires physical demands lifting 50-60 lbs. of force frequently push pull or otherwise move objects.
    7. Ability to walk reach climb or balance stoop or kneel.
    8. Knowledge of hand and power tools.
    9. Must have five years of experience in a combination of construction plumbing and gas repair.
    10. Read and understand blueprints and closeout books.
    11. Understanding building codes.


    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 260 Days; 12 Months
    COMPENSATION:Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
    BENEFITS:As per QCUSD District policy
    REPORTS TO: Building Operations Supervisor
    HOURS: 40 hours per week and may require longer hours Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
    CLASSIFICATION:Hourly Non-exempt

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

    1. Responsible for routine maintenance on all District facilities.
    2. Performs repairs alterations preventative maintenance construction and installation of equipment for site buildings.
    3. Processes work orders in a timely manner.
    4. Establishes and maintain records for materials and parts required to complete work orders and construction projects.
    5. Assists Maintenance Construction Lead in defining construction project tasks.
    6. Being flexible
    7. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
