Job Requirements

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum high school graduate GED or equivalent work experience

• Eligible for employment in the US

• At least three (3) years of work experience as a Millwright

• Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

  • Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot dusty/dirty around hazardous chemicals noise heavy machinery elevated working surfaces and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)

  • Undergo technical online testing interview and a formal hands-on assessment of skills

  • Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment

  • Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment

  • Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment

  • Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule

  • Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification

  • Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis

  • Wear required safety equipment

It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):

• Associates degree or certification(s) in the Millwright discipline

• A minimum of 3 years work experience in the Millwright discipline

• Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.

The Job You Will Perform:

This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Duties include but are not limited to:

Install machine and equipment according to lay-out plan blueprints and other drawings

Align machines and equipment using hoists jacks hand tools dial indicators and laser alignment equipment

Install machinery new and existing equipment

Repair and lubricate machine and equipment

Refurbish/maintain valves pumps gear boxes bearings agitators conveyors turbines paper machines lime kiln

Measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters

Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues

Fabricate structural materials as needed

Other duties as assigned
