Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individuals relevant knowledge skills and experience. General Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment to provide utilities such as light heating air conditioning building and room maintenance.
• Inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair adjustment or lubrication.

• Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the building as directed by a supervisor.
• Ensures adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
• Performs minor structural repairs including sheet rock doors trim and plumbing.
• Reports inventories and work schedules to maintenance supervisor every day.
• Conducts preventative maintenance.

• Performs scheduled and nonscheduled repair maintenance and installation of machinery tools equipment and/or associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property
• Directly or indirectly supports the installation maintenance and repair of HVAC electrical plumbing systems and water distribution including fire suppression and sewerage facilities

Entry Level Position

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): or combination of experience and training preferred.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and direct activities of hotel maintenance mechanics.
• Ability to stand stoop bend lift and walk throughout the duration of shift.
• Excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke noise and bright lights.

• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
