Job Summary
Position SummaryEntry level position in Maintenance assisting and supporting experienced maintenance personnel in the upkeep and repair of buildings grounds plant and production equipment. Performs basic repairs under the guidance of more experienced maintenance personnel for on the job training experience. Position may require some off hours work to complete repairs and projects prior to production operations starting Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in minor/ basic plumbing carpentry and electrical repairs such as unclogging toilets fixing leaking faucets and replacing light bulbs. Assist more experienced Maintenance Technicians with facility production and support equipment preventative maintenance and with exterior property upkeep including landscaping mowing and seasonal task; such as snow/ice RequirementsHigh School Diploma or drivers in all motorized material handling equipment such as forklifts maintenance carts and tuggers after training is understanding of specialized or technical fields in order to operate machinery (with up to 90 days of training required).Must be able to comprehend basic technical issues and focus on working safely and adhering to all safety rules for the require travel to Claremont NC location.
