Maintenance Equipment Technician 1 Pay: $22.00 - $27.40 per hour for 1st shift 7% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Incentives:Safety Glasses ReimbursementSafety Shoe ReimbursementCompany to provide needed toolsUniforms ProvidedRelocation assistanceWork Hours: Days Monday-Friday 7am-3pmLocation: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This position is for both an Equipment Technician you will:Sharpen trimmer knives/bladesResponsible for knife inventory and functionality Coordinate with vendors for direct supplyResponsible for maintenance and adjustment of the offline auxiliary binder/finishing equipment and componentsPerform routine scheduled maintenance such as cleaning oiling preplacement of worn parts adjusting belt tension knife grinding etcMaintain an inventory of spare partsSubmit orders for parts as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipmentQualifications:2 years of experience in an industrial settingGeneral knowledge of small/light equipment and machines to include the mechanical operation of that equipmentAbility to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds frequentlyAbility to read diagrams manuals and specifications
