Maintenance Engineer

Nature and Scope

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various equipment including crushers grinders kilns and material handling systems to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Identify diagnose and resolve mechanical issues affecting production. Use problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions to recurring problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repairs inspections and parts usage. Contribute to the development of maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Work closely with senior personnels and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and improve operational efficiency. Participate in team meetings to discuss projects and progress.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance duties. Participate in safety drills and contribute to fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
• Support ongoing projects such as equipment upgrades or installations by providing technical input and assistance during implementation.
• Continuous seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance engineering practices and cement production processes.
• Assist in planning major shutdown work requests with a high degree of specialization regarding instructions human resources estimate materials special tools and estimated duration of jobs.
• And other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical systems electrical systems and instrumentation. Familiarity with CAD software or other engineering tools is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems develop solutions and implement changes effectively. Strong attention to detail.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and interact effectively with colleagues supervisors and other departments.

Required Work Experience: Entry level.

Required Computer and Software Skills: Tabware AutoCAD Project Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)

Travel Requirements: 0 - 10%
