Maintenance Electrician

Alllied Reliability is seeking a Maintenance Electricianfor afruit processing operation for a leading brand manufacturers of jams sweets and custard-based desserts. The manufacturing facility produces value added fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt ice cream and bakery manufacturers.

Job Overview

• Primary responsibility is to keep all facilities equipment production equipment and the building in safe and working order
• To troubleshoot maintain repair and/or replace (whole or in part) all equipment machinery apparatus electronic components and electrical systems so that the production of quality goods is uninterrupted or with minimal down time
• Interacts with plant management and production supervisors

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain production equipment.
• Perform PM tasks on production equipment.
• Perform various electrical tasks.
• Maintain building equipment.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Formal Education requirements

• Certified Electrician - completion of an apprenticeship program or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is essential.

Skills and abilities required:

• Ability to organize prioritize and execute assigned tasks.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills & knowledge on 24v 480v systems and components.
• PLC and control knowledge Siemens and or Rockwell Allen Bradley.
• Motor & Motor control knowledge.
• Understanding operation manuals and schematics.
• Good people skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook SAP.
