Floor Maintenance Technician
Rate: $17.60 - $20.13/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm

Northgate Health Care Facility is seeking a dependable Floor Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for residents visitors and this role youll be responsible for preserving and protecting floor surfaces throughout the facility while supporting overall environmental services operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sweep mop and maintain floor surfaces throughout the facility
• Perform floor stripping buffing waxing and refinishing as needed
• Clean and shampoo carpets and rugs
• Complete light window wall and surface cleaning duties
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and infection control standards
• Assist with maintaining a clean safe and attractive environment for residents and visitors
• Perform additional housekeeping and floor care duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous floor maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of floor care equipment cleaning products and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for resident privacy dignity and rights
• Dependable professional and customer-service oriented
• Ability to perform physical tasks and remain active throughout the workday
