Basic Job Functions:
- Maintaining shop work tickets schedule equipment PMs maintaining parts inventories and equipment repair logs.
- Ordering and maintaining of all parts inventories.
- Driving company truck to pick up parts.
- Assign invoices to cost centers and maintaining records of purchases
- Participates and contributes to company safety program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year experience or more in office administrations including word processing Excel and computer data entry required.
- Forklift certification
- High School diploma General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in purchasing department.
