Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL JCL DB2 CICS and VSAM to develop enhance and support high-volume enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in application development production support performance optimization and release management within large transaction-based systems. This role requires strong technical leadership problem-solving abilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test debug maintain and support complex Mainframe applications using COBOL JCL DB2 CICS and VSAM
• Participate in application architecture technical design estimation and project planning activities
• Develop and optimize enterprise applications for performance scalability and reliability
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design program specifications and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Review and improve development testing and deployment processes
• Support release management activities and production deployments
• Create technical documentation design specifications and operational procedures
• Collaborate with business analysts QA teams architects and developers throughout the SDLC
• Guide junior developers and provide technical leadership across development initiatives
• Monitor application performance and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications
