Machinist-Tulsa

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machines such as lathes mills and grinders.
• Follow blueprints technical drawings and work instructions to produce accurate parts.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers micrometers and other precision instruments.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure a clean safe work area.
• Monitor machine operations and report any issues to senior machinists or supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and quality.
• Learn and apply shop safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Completion of a machining manufacturing or technical program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machining principles mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both orally and in writing
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
