Job Summary
The annual base salary range for this position is <$70000- $88000>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.
In this role you will impact the quality and timeliness of manufacturing outputs supporting Honeywells commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction by delivering precision-machined parts that meet or exceed industry standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
- Interpret blueprints technical drawings and work orders to determine machining requirements and processes.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in precision machining with a strong understanding of CNC and manual machine operation.
- In-depth knowledge of interpreting blueprints technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing parts.
- Expertise in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and gauges to ensure quality control.
- Familiarity with machining software and programming languages relevant to CNC operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
- Associates degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a machining role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in precision manufacturing.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
