Job Summary
In this role you will impact the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by applying advanced machining skills troubleshooting equipment issues and collaborating with team members to meet customer requirements and production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Set up operate and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints technical drawings and work orders to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Perform quality checks and measurements to verify the accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a machinist with advanced skills in operating and setting up CNC and manual machines.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes tooling and precision measurement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and work orders accurately.
- Experience with quality control procedures and use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
- Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuous production.
WE VALUE
- Associates degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a machining role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
