Machinist II-CNC-2nd Shift

dormakaba is seeking a second shift (2:00PM-10:30PM) Machinist II-CNC based in Indianapolis IN. The Machinist II-CNC is responsible for performing machine setups tool changes and adjusting as necessary.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $23hr - $30/hr plus a 1.00 shift differential and mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data). $2000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

• Follow operation instructions; operate machine according to standard operating instructions
• Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP).
• Using micrometers height gauges calipers and comparator

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience operating setups tool changes etc.
• Understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Ability to perform advanced quality inspections.
• Professional communication skills.
