Machinist

An outstanding full-time opening has become available in the Auburn RI area for a local individual with 3 years experience as a Manual Machinist with a background in metals manufacturing. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits a 401K w/ matching Tuition Assistance PTO and other outstanding perks. The schedule is 4x10; Monday-Thursday with possible OT on Fridays.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 3 years of Manual Machinist experience in a metals/manufacturing environment.

• Experience with Tool Room machinery including 3-axis Mill Lathe Surface Grinder Band Saw Drill Press Belt Sander Jig Grinder Centerless Grinder etc. is a MUST

• Experience with reading/using measuring devices i.e. Vernier calipers micrometers go/no-go gauges surface gauges shadowgraphs tool maker microscopes drop indicators etc. is a MUST

• Experience building/repairing tools dies components including Goosenecks pots couplers brackets etc. is a PLUS

• Familiarity working with a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) monitoring machine and product quality and work within tight tolerances of /- .0005 is a MUST.
