Location: Arlington WA and Monroe WA
Job Type: Contract to hire
Pay: $23.75 $27.75 per hour

Available Shifts
  • Night Shift: Monday Thursday 4:30 PM 3:00 AM ($4.00/hour shift differential)
  • Weekend Day Shift: Friday Sunday 4:30 AM 5:00 PM ($2.00/hour shift differential; work 36 hours paid for 40)
Position Summary

We are seeking a Machine Operator II to operate CNC and numerical control (NC) machines used in the production of precision components. This position is responsible for monitoring machine operations inspecting finished parts reading technical drawings and ensuring all products meet quality and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate NC/CNC machines and machining centers to manufacture precision parts.
  • Monitor machine operations and identify machining issues or out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Notify supervisors or lead personnel of equipment malfunctions or quality concerns.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and verify product quality before production continues.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and work instructions.
  • Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and indicators.
  • Recognize production issues and communicate them promptly to supervisors.
  • Develop a working knowledge of CNC programming concepts including G-codes and M-codes.
  • Complete assigned machining tasks while meeting production standards and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and perform additional shop duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of machine operation or machining experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Windows-based operating systems.
  • Vocational or technical training in machining is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently walk bend push pull climb and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise dust coolants and fumes.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines.
