At Mainstream Engineering our machinists play a critical role in bringing advanced engineering concepts to life. We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Machinist to join our manufacturing team and help produce precision components that support cutting-edge technologies across multiple industries. What Youll Do

Set up and operate Swiss CNC lathes and vertical mills to produce high-precision components
Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments to maintain efficient production
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately
Inspect finished components using precision measurement equipment to verify conformance to requirements
Identify and address quality issues while maintaining high production standards
Complete production records and documentation accurately
Maintain a clean organized and safety-focused work environment
Collaborate with engineers programmers and fellow machinists to support manufacturing goals

What Were Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and setting up Swiss CNC lathes
Able to work 3:00pm to 12:00am
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Proficiency with precision measurement instruments and inspection techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Strong work ethic reliability and a willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills
