Machine Operators Industrial Manufacturing

Now hiring experiencedMachine Operatorsto work for a Cable-Manufacturing facility in Milton FL. The Machine Operators work in various departments:Screening/Stranding;Jacketing;Take-Up; & WTEC(Wire Technician). All eligible candidates MUSThave the willingness to learn the companys process.Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required but it does not have to be on this specific machinery.Any experience with wire drawing and/or spool reels is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate the variousmachinerythat isused in ourcable manufacturing facility.
• Read/interpret/understand blueprints and/or drawings (including symbols material type and material shape).
• Setting up the screening and/or stranding machines independently from a selection of tooling options:set-uppay-offtake-up; setting running parameters; consistently monitor the QUALITY of product.
• Familiar with using/operating electronic screens for controlling the screening or stranding process (Human Machine Interface).
• Good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
• Must maintain a consistent log of production AND quality per company systems & standards.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety procedures and policies.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year as a manufacturing Machine Operator (or as a CNC Operator) is preferred but NOT required.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/machining environment ispreferred but NOT required.

EDUCATION:
High school Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but NOT required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass adrug test.
• Must have Steel-toed boots.
• Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
• Must completea pre-employment (level-1) background check.

PAY:
Position starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. ---Depending on level of Experience
(with the opportunity to increase over-time)

SCHEDULE:
Full-Time
Currently Hiring for BOTH Day & Night Shift--- All shifts are 12-hrs
Day Shift 7:30am - 7:30pm
Night Shift 7:30pm - 7:30am

***Expect to work at least 60 hours per week***
(ALL hours worked over 40-hrs will be paid at Time-and-a-Half)
