About the job
As a Team Lead you will coordinate and supportthe daily work.Overview of the order/task situation focusing on containment and corrective actions during order/task execution time frame. Team Leader is not a manager.
This position is in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.
As a part of the team you will:
Coordinate and support the daily work of theteam/shift
Monitorprocesses and performance in theteam/shift
Be a linkbetween the teamsupport functionsand TM
Develop andhave goodknowledge of the key processes and tools within the cell
Closecompetence gaps by training/coachingand running SOPaudit dialogues
Control of quality deviations and line stopstogether with TM
Focus on waste elimination and improvements
Drive meetings within cell(shift handover cell meeting)
Conduct daily work as ateam member
Makeand follow updetailedplanfor the cell
When needed supportteam memberswith immediate problem solving

What you know:
High school diploma or GED preferredwith relevant experience and:
1 year of experience fromAlfa Lavalproduction/manufacturing/distribution
Training skills.
Office computer skills.
Good knowledge of SOPs and processes within the team
Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers .
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints .
Forklift operation certification preferred.
Overhead crane experience preferred.

Physical and Environmental Factors:
Physical Requirements (lifting climbing standing equipment use):
Regularly exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally; 30 lbs of force frequently
Stand or walk for 80% of the workday
Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Environmental Factors (hazardous materials work location work surfaces exposure):
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment: steel toe boots safety glasses and ear plugs
Exposure to various weather conditions cold or hot wet/humid conditions and loud noise levels. No climate-controlled environment.
Work near hazards: moving machinery vehicles electrical currents and chemicals
Encounter atmospheric conditions: fumes dust gases odors and poor ventilation
Operate in confined spaces such as narrow aisles or passageway
Communicate effectively through speech and hearing
