About the job

As a Team Lead you will coordinate and supportthe daily work.Overview of the order/task situation focusing on containment and corrective actions during order/task execution time frame. Team Leader is not a manager.

This position is in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.

As a part of the team you will:

• Coordinate and support the daily work of theteam/shift

• Monitorprocesses and performance in theteam/shift

• Be a linkbetween the teamsupport functionsand TM

• Develop andhave goodknowledge of the key processes and tools within the cell

• Closecompetence gaps by training/coachingand running SOPaudit dialogues

• Control of quality deviations and line stopstogether with TM

• Focus on waste elimination and improvements

• Drive meetings within cell(shift handover cell meeting)

• Conduct daily work as ateam member

• Makeand follow updetailedplanfor the cell

• When needed supportteam memberswith immediate problem solving

What you know:

High school diploma or GED preferredwith relevant experience and:

• 1 year of experience fromAlfa Lavalproduction/manufacturing/distribution

• Training skills.

• Office computer skills.

• Good knowledge of SOPs and processes within the team

• Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers .

• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints .

• Forklift operation certification preferred.

• Overhead crane experience preferred.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

Physical Requirements (lifting climbing standing equipment use):

• Regularly exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally; 30 lbs of force frequently

• Stand or walk for 80% of the workday

• Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Environmental Factors (hazardous materials work location work surfaces exposure):

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment: steel toe boots safety glasses and ear plugs

• Exposure to various weather conditions cold or hot wet/humid conditions and loud noise levels. No climate-controlled environment.

• Work near hazards: moving machinery vehicles electrical currents and chemicals

• Encounter atmospheric conditions: fumes dust gases odors and poor ventilation

• Operate in confined spaces such as narrow aisles or passageway

• Communicate effectively through speech and hearing
