This is an entry-level Machine Operator role based in Londonderry NH operating 100% onsite. The position involves tasks such as filling hoppers with empty vials labeling products and maintaining cleanliness in the manufacturing area. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift and typically lasts one week.
- Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks.
- Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures when required.
- Support material handling as necessary.
- Maintain segregation of materials and lot and/or receiving numbers.
- Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP device history record hazard communication and safety rules.
- Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above.
- Accept full accountability for product quality.
- Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process component inventories and relative documentation.
- Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
- Exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before during and after production.
- Basic computer skills required for training purposes.
- Ability to adhere to shift start times with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication skills; ability to speak English is required as communication is crucial in this role.
- Ability to fit well within a small team and demonstrate a good personality.
- Good attendance record and ability to get along with others.
- Genuine interest in the job and eagerness to contribute.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience mandatory.
- Experience in similar bottling operations (e.g. food and beverage) is beneficial.
- Recent high school graduates with a strong work ethic will also be considered.
- Must be able to stand to package and label product.
- Lifting moving and carrying products weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Candidate supporting a closed production line; no physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
- Candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line.
- Support material handling as necessary; does not require use of forklift or power jack.
- Safety glasses hair nets and gloves are provided. Candidate must provide steel-toe or composite shoes/boots.
