Shift:24/7 nights (6pm - 6am) - 6:00 pm - 6:15 am (24/7)

Pay & Total Rewards

The pay range for this position is $18.40-$25.80 per hour along with additional compensation through overtime and 30% shift differential when working an off-shift. The starting pay offered is based on your skills experience and additional qualifications needed for the role.

This position comes with a $1500 sign on bonus which is payable after your first 30 days worked. You must be actively employed with us at the time of payout to receive the sign on bonus. Sign-on bonus payments are subject to any legally required or elected withholdings and applicable federal state and local taxes.

Position Summary

As aLevel II Machine Operatoryoullbepartofour manufacturing team producingfluid-systemcomponents that meet the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for anentry-levelmachinist whois eager to learncan work independentlymaintainhigh qualityproductionstandardsand recognize whenadditionalsupport is neededwhilemaintaininga strong focus on the tools and gauges necessary to be successful in your role.

Youllhave the opportunity tolearnevery daycontinuously expanding your technicalknowledgegainingexperience working on a variety of machinesproducing various partsin a clean moderntemperature-controlledmanufacturingenvironment.

What Youll Do

Your day will include a variety of responsibilities that keep production running safely and efficiently including:

  • Follow Swageloks production systemsuch asparticipatingin a daily shift start-up meeting with your or receivea shift handoff report thatsetsthe incoming or outgoing shifts up for success.

  • Operate andmonitormanufacturingequipmentaccording to standard work instructions.

  • Follow standard workinstructionsand quality plans according to specs.

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers calipers comparators ring gauges dial indicatorssmart gaugesand other inspection tools.

  • tooling and process issuesand escalatetosupportassociates toresume production.

  • Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care.

  • Document production activities accurately andmaintainmanufacturing records.

  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work area while following all safety procedures.

What Makes You Successful

Werelooking for someone who enjoys hands-on workhas a strong mechanicalaptitudetakes pride in producing high-quality parts and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Successful candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Basic math skills adding and subtracting fractions and decimals

  • Self-motivated with an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

Even better if you have:

  • Machining experience or mechanical background

  • Experience in a manufacturingproductionenvironment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A willingness to workovertime hours as needed

Physical Requirements

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment and may include:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods.

  • Frequent bending reaching and stooping.

  • Lifting materials weighing 2535 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Working safely around manufacturing equipment.

  • Passing required vision acuity testing where applicable.
