Machine Operator Converting

ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging manufacturing company. Our Holbrook MA facility is looking to add a Machine Operator - Converting to our team.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function be made upon request to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Safley sets up operates and monitors converting machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.

• Completes converting machine setup for production runs including loading materials adjusting settings and calibratingequipmentto ensure proper operation.

• Monitors the production process inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.

• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.

• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.

• Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.

• Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping storage staging and cleanliness requirements.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Wearappropriate personalprotectiveequipment(PPE) as required by safety policies andreportsany safety hazards or concerns to theappropriate teammember.

• Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.

• Effectively works with other departments or team members such as machine technicians supervisors and quality control inspectors to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.

Qualifications Education and Experience

• HS/GEDrequired;HS/GEDpreferred
• 2-4 years experience in a related fieldexperience in a related field required.
• This position has no leadership duties.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal written and presentations) with executive leadership staff and internal and external clients.

• Proactive; exercises sound judgment anddecision-making; able to identify problems andneeds anddevelop solutions and/or options.

• Self-confident self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging fast-paced environment.
