Machine Operator American Augers

Hours:5am 3:30pm Monday through Thursday some overtime on Fridays

Wage:$18-20/hr based on experience

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating a drill press
• May read information from blueprints.
• Set up adjust and operate production equipmentwhilemonitoring the performance of the machine and carrying out operations in propersequence.
• Set up fixtures mount parts in fixtures/components and perform mechanical assemblyusing hand and air tools (wrenches torque wrenchesimpact wrenches screwdrivers hammers etc.).
• Use a computer tocheck the location inventory and routing of partsand maintain production records.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Be familiar with and have basic experience using mechanical repair and assembly tools includingwrenches screwdrivers pliers etc.
• Have appropriate reading clerical and basic math skillsincluding understandingwritten instructions maintainingproduction recordsand calculatingsums differencesand fractions.
• Experience or training inweldingmachining mechanical repair or metal working machinery operation would be beneficial.
