Description
Were seeking a Research Engineer to bridge the critical gap between cutting-edge ML research and production-ready solutions. Youll transform research prototypes into robust deployable systems that end users can confidently put into production. This role uniquely combines software engineering DevOps practices and ML solution delivery.

• Develop evaluation methodologies and experimental designs for assessing model and agent performance including capability reliability and limitation analyses.
• Conduct reviews of current state-of-the-art AI/ML evaluation methods and emerging techniques to inform approach selection.
• Define and document evaluation criteria success metrics and assessment rationale in partnership with the Data Scientists.
• Assess candidate models and agentic systems and produce written technical findings and recommendations.
• Author technical reports evaluation plans and decision-support documentation for stakeholders.

Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
Six years experience and a Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or other Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field or four years experience and a Masters degree or zero years experience and a PhD.
