Job Summary
Now hiring Machine Build Technicians for a company in Akron.
Weekly pay ranging between $20 - $28 per hour depending on experience.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and other instructions written or verbal to complete sub-assembly and/or final assembly of customized products.
- Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications.
- Consult with Engineering for custom product design projects.
- Lay out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly.
- Align components for assembly and bolts screws dowels welds or rivets parts together.
- Identify faulty components during the assembly process make adjustments and report them to management.
- Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- A technical degree is a plus but not required.
- Self-Motivated and ability to work independently.
