About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Alturas California. This role supports skilled nursing facility residents and requires strong assessment skills medication administration experience patient care coordination and the ability to work closely with physicians nursing staff residents families and other departments.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized nursing care for SNF residents under the direction of the charge RN
Perform patient assessments treatments medication administration and nursing procedures
Document patient condition interventions medications and progress accurately
Respond appropriately to emergency situations and report changes to the charge nurse or physician
Support patient safety infection control family education and smooth coordination with the care team
Requirements
Active California LVN License Required
Minimum 1 year of LVN or skilled nursing experience required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Strong assessment communication documentation and emergency response skills required
Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs and be available for day shift schedule
