Lube Technician

Job Summary:

Seidel Hyundai is seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our team in Reading Pennsylvania. This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry. As a Lube Technician you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles. This is an individual contributor role and the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic attention to detail and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

- Perform oil changes tire rotations and other routine maintenance on all makes and models of vehicles
- Inspect and replace filters and fluids as needed
- Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential maintenance needs
- Diagnose and repair minor vehicle issues including belts hoses and bulbs
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle recommendations and repairs
- Keep accurate records of all services performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repair techniques
- Ability to use and interpret diagnostic equipment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
